Holiday Garden Shopping Guide

Did you know that you can get your holiday shopping done while visiting a garden in America's Garden Capital? With fewer crowds and a focus on the beauty of nature, holiday shopping at a public garden gift shop can be a pleasant and peaceful activity—turning a typically stressful task into a delightful excursion! Check out of our list of gardens with gift shops (unless otherwise noted, no admission required!).

Gardens with Gift Shops

Choosing to do your holiday shopping at the gift shop of a public garden goes beyond finding unique gifts; it actively supports the mission and sustainability of the garden itself. Revenue generated from the gift shop often directly contributes to the maintenance, conservation, and educational programs of the public garden. In essence, every item bought becomes a tangible way to invest in the continued well-being and growth of the public garden.

Admission not required to visit the following gift shops. Be sure to check each garden’s website for current hours prior to visiting.

The Gift of Membership

Giving the gift of membership to a public garden is a thoughtful and enduring present that extends well beyond the holiday season. A membership offers recipients the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature year-round, gaining unlimited access to the tranquil oasis of the public garden.

Why give the gift of membership:

  • Members often receive exclusive privileges, such as early access and discounted admission to events, workshops, and special exhibitions.
  • It’s a gift that keeps on giving. Each season brings a distinctly new landscape and blooms to explore.
  • Year-round access to a fun and educational environment for kids of all ages.
  • Our gardens depend on you. The gift of membership supports the sustainability and growth of the public garden by contributing to vital conservation efforts, educational programs, and the maintenance of the horticultural collections.
