Clifford Ward: I’ll Make Me a World at Grounds For Sculpture

Ward’s exhibition spans over a decade of creative work, much of which was created at his studio on the GFS campus and presents a rich tapestry of themes and concepts. In his work, Ward envisions a Black future that reclaims and reinterprets the symbolism and history of the past.

Exuberant Blooms at Morris Arboretum & Gardens

Spread over more than a quarter acre of open garden, the large paisley-shaped floral “islands” contain more than 10,000 plants with heights ranging from 8 inches to 8 feet. This stunning display showcases a plant palette in a wide range of flower shapes and colors, including annual and tropical plants with vibrant hues of oranges, pinks, reds, and purple.

Art in the Garden is what The Gardens at Mill Fleurs is all about!

The Gardens at Mill Fleurs were designed to celebrate diversity. Plants collected from around the world are organized by color, texture, and by architectural form. The 18th-century raceway has been planted with distorted, funky triangles of hostas which will feature three seasons of vibrant yellow, orange, and red to create a living contemporary mural.
